Melike Beşik

Melike Beşik is an artist, architectural designer, and researcher based in Istanbul, Turkey. Her work primarily focuses on the politics of space, spatial narration, and micro-narratives. She is still in the exploration of ways to narrate the fragments of what Donna Haraway refers to as the 'thick present', by using varied mediums such as text, poetry, drawing, collage, and model making. She has conducted several projects and exhibitions in these frameworks, oscillating between art, design, and research.
